what with most of san diego county on fire at present i thought id update to let everyone know that im a bit sick from the smoke but otherwise fine. there have been no evacuations, mandatory or voluntary, of my neighborhood. the harris fire is currently about 8 miles east of here and not moving this way. assuming the winds dont shift this area should be fine. its been almost exactly the same as the 2003 cedar fire thus far. here's hoping its contained soon.

we've already dropped off extra blankets and pillows to the stadium evac center, id like to urge anyone who can spare supplies to do so. a lot of the people who've been evacuated are the same ones who lost homes in cedar. sucks to be them, so anything the rest of us can do to help out would be great.
